In June 2023 ILIOS had its debut exhibition in Barcelona at Valid World Hall gallery. Nicole’s solo exhibition saw ILIOS come to life with paintings, ceramics and prints inspired by and made in the Mediterranean where ILIOS was born and thrives. The selection of artworks created a space where the spirit of the Mediterranean - Nicole’s home - was emulated. ILIOS at Valid World Hall was an ode to simple and slow living and the importance of staying true to one’s roots and culture. The event saw like-minded art lovers come together to appreciate the principles of taking life slowly, to celebrate the creativity that comes with simple living and the importance of expressing one’s self and soul.
